3. Formation of Boudhanath Region Development Committee

(1) A committee named Boudhanath Region Development Committee will be constituted for the social, economic, religious and cultural development of Boudhanath Region.
(2) The committee under sub-section (1) will have the following members

a) The person appointed by the Government of Nepal - Chairman
(b) Five persons nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the philanthropic intellectuals and eminent persons of the Boudhanath region related to Boudhanath region - members
(c) Representative, Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture – Member
(d) Representative, Ministry of Population and Environment – ​​Member
(e) Representative, Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation – Member
(f) Representative, Ministry of Home Affairs – Member
(g) Representative, Ministry of Housing and Physical Planning – Member
(h) Representative, Ministry of Land Reforms and Administration – Member
(i) Representative, Member of Assembly, Kathmandu Region No. 2 – Member
(j) Chief, Kathmandu Metropolitan City – Member
(k) Ward no. Member of Kathmandu Metropolitan City elected from 6 - Member
(l) Executive Director – Member Secretary
(3) The term of office of the chairman and nominated members shall be four years and they may be re-nominated.
(4) If the Government of Nepal deems it necessary, it may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and make necessary additions, reductions or changes in the members of the committee.
(5) The committee may invite other indigenous or foreign persons to participate as supervisors in the meeting of the committee as required.
